“IT’S TIME!  IT’S TIME! (Did he just say IT’S TIME?)”

IMG_0167

Friends of Abba’s House, it is finally time for our first round of VOLUNTEER TRAINING to prepare for our first families who will arrive to stay with us this summer, Lord willing.  So, to that end, we are asking all who desire to be trained to work as a Missionary of Welcome at Abba’s House to REGISTER FOR A TRAINING SESSION in April.  This lets us know you are coming so we can prepare a packet for you and have enough refreshments with coffee, tea, etc.

At each session (you only need to attend one–they are both the same), we will also give you the opportunity to:

  • order an Abba’s House t-shirt for $20 (if you need/want one).  You can also order one online by clicking “Abba’s House t-shirt.”
  • buy Cindy Wu’s workbook A Better Country for $10, great for individuals, groups, and churches who desire to be better informed for welcoming refugees

  1. Hi,
I have a nice dining room light fixture and 3 exterior hanging light fixtures. Are you in need of any?
If so I’ll send pictures. The exterior fixtures are new and the dining room fixture is from our home less than 2 years old.
Please let me know at your earliest convenience.

    1. Pam, thank you so much! We actually have a builder that has secured all the outdoor fixtures, and someone is making us a very unique dining room fixture. But we appreciate you thinking of us!

      1. That’s wonderful 😀
I also have a new pendulum wall clock still in the box made by the Howard Miller clock company. It has a Westminster chime melody which of course can be silenced. If you are interested I can email pictures.

      2. Pam, I apologize for only now responding. It took settling into the house and seeing what ended up going on walls to know what else would work well. We would love to see pics of the clock and dimensions if it is still available to discern if and where it might go. Thank you!
