As Mireille and her boys’ arrival date gets closer…only 2 weeks away…there are still a few specific needs we have for the 3 year-old and 20 month-old: one more car seat, two toddler mattresses, a diaper pail, slip-on diapers in sizes 3, 4 & 5 and toddler training pants sizes 2-3T (small packages since we don’t yet know which size he will be), and baby wipes. We are also in need of some cleaning supplies, as the house will be getting a LOT of use between our guest family and daily volunteers, and extra cleaning will be needed to keep up with the traffic. If you are able and would like to help with any of these, view our Wish List below or purchase locally and drop them by. If you have any of these items gently used (except diapers and wipes!), we would be grateful for those as well.
We are also in need of a couple of people willing to come sort through donations such as toiletry items, toys, games, books, etc., and get the refugee guest bedroom and bathroom all set up and ready for their family. If you are interested, please contact Julie. julie@abbashousetexas.com
Abba's House 
We have a dilemma…we have a carseat that was a hand-me-down, and as such I’m not certain of the legality of giving it to someone else. We would put our grandchildren in it, if need be, but that need seldom if ever presents itself. Let me know what you think. We’ll drop it by if you would find it useful.
